In der vierteiligen Serie wird die Geschichte des Landes ausschlie\u00dflich aus der Perspektive von Frauen erz\u00e4hlt \u2013 durch pers\u00f6nliche Erinnerungen, unterschiedliche Stimmen und Erfahrungen, die von Hoffnung, Verlust und Widerstand gepr\u00e4gt sind.<\/p>\n

Die Protagonistinnen f\u00fchren durch die pr\u00e4genden Stationen der j\u00fcngeren iranischen Geschichte: von der Modernisierung der 1960er Jahre \u00fcber die Islamische Revolution und den Krieg gegen den Irak bis zu den Protesten der Gegenwart.<\/p>\n

Begleitet von eindrucksvollen Archivbildern entfaltet sich ein ebenso intimes wie politisches Panorama des Iran.
